Extensive Test Libraries
Refined through constant dialogue with clinicians, the features of QEST4 help get the best possible results for practitioners and clients.
Operating the light and portable QEST4 with its simple but capable software interface is very easy.
Simply select the tests you wish to run, normally beginning with the Comprehensive analysis. Your client takes hold of the brass handpieces, and the results are available in moments. The software allows you to pre-define an unlimited set of tests so that you can have all aspects of your practice at your fingertips. The software gives a clear display of the results and printable reports can be generated in seconds.
The system provides extensive search capabilities so that you can continue your detective work once you have an initial set of priority items.
The huge database allows you to make up tests around any health topic you want to. Further, you can test client-response to items ‘on the test plate’, and add your own items to the database.
A recent feature-addition is the ability to Import and Export libraries from other practitioners, which is ideal for specific interest group doing specialised work.
The software provides instant access to all previous client test results so you can review history.
Applying the QEST4’s treatment capability using the low-energy laser or creating imprinted remedies takes only minutes.
The QEST4 software contains digitally-encoded information relating to a wide range of mental, physiological and emotional factors. The signals are output by the hardware as electromagnetic signals during testing. Using a simple and safe low voltage circuit formed by holding two brass cylinders, the response of the body to those signals is recorded – bio-energetic testing. The response being measured is small changes in the electrical resistance of the skin. This information is relayed back to the software. A report is generated on the computer of any responses that are outside specific limits.
The predecessor to the Qest4 is the Asyra, which is based on the same technology and a full description of how it works can be found on our Asyra website.
Running a test on the QEST4 is an example of a process called bio-energetic testing. Bio-energetic (or just ‘energetic’) testing is effectively ‘asking the body a question’ and obtaining a response directly from the body’s own physiology, without engaging the conscious and language centres of the mind.
It is helpful to make some comparisons to other techniques that go part of the way towards this. Many people will be familiar with muscle testing or kinesiology.
This is another form of bio-energetic testing applied by health practitioners. With muscle testing the question is often asked verbally or the subject may hold a sample of a substance being tested. The response is measured by changes in the contractile strength of the skeletal muscles, checked manually by the tester.
Another informative comparison is the phenomenon of ideo-motor response, which is used by hypnotherapists. When the client is in a trance state, a set of pre-defined response patterns (e.g. raising one finger or another, which occurs without conscious effort) can be used to obtain responses to questions about which the subject may have no conscious recollection. This method can be used to recover memories from the unconscious mind, which is thought to store all our experiences, regardless of whether we can ‘remember’ them in normal consciousness.
These examples are similar in principle to QEST4 testing, but QEST4 goes one step further: the items being tested are presented as a micropower radio signal output – a kind of ‘electromagnetic photocopy’ of the test item, rather than in words or using a physical sample.
What really distinguishes the QEST4 from these earlier methods and from many of the other devices on the market is the skill and experience embodied in the system from over 30 years of refining the digital encoding methods and in improving the technology for recording responses. The QEST4 system is able to run a very large number of tests in a few minutes and thereby build a broad picture of energetic functioning and responses in the client’s body.
The word ‘energetic’ does not relate to energy in the strict sense that a physicist would mean it. Instead we are using the term loosely to refer to aspects of human functioning that are not just biomechanical (e.g joints, muscles and motion) and biochemical (e.g. nutrients, proteins, hormones and oxidation). The functioning of the human body is governed by informational signals. Some of these, such as the instructions for making proteins encoded in DNA are recognised by modern science. The epigenetic factors – how our experiences in life affect gene expression – are just beginning to be understood. It is likely that there are many other communication mechanisms at work that have yet to be explained scientifically. Biology is a very young science. The existence of control mechanisms beyond genetic determinism is not seriously disputed by modern science, but its implications have not filtered through to medicine in practice. This is a result of resistance to change and because it is not yet clear how to employ the knowledge in systematic treatment programmes. When we obtain responses from a bioenergetic testing device, the information is a mixture of commentary on the physical, chemical, emotional and mental state. Indeed, part of the skill of the practitioner of bioenergetic testing is to consider the information that comes from the system and decide how to recommend an individualised health and wellness programme.
QEST4 can support you whatever your practice, and the technology naturally leads you to extend your practice skills.
We are confident that you will not find a better package than the QEST4 system, which comes with our unrivalled experience in both developing technologies, and supporting natural health practitioners to successfully integrate this approach into practice.
Our sister website, Asyra Pro, shows the predecessor to the Qest4, and has some very interesting case studies, testimonials and practitioner interviews to support the bio-resonance technology. Take a look.
Nutritional therapists make extensive use of ‘test-plate testing’ to help gauge the potential response to different foods, formulas and combinations. The food sensitivity library finds widespread use to help tune-up dietary recommendations. Refer to the QEST4 Database page to see the wide variety of nutritional and functional medicine libraries built-into the system.
Many homeopaths feel instantly at home with the QEST4, which integrates the idea of ‘like treats like’ in its underlying philosophy. The ability to pre-scan through hundreds of homeopathic remedies allows you to accelerate your ‘reading’ of the client. QEST4 lets you imprint a unique combination-remedy that brings in not only traditional homeopathics but a wide range of issues imprinted at a chosen potency or multi-chord.
With such a wide-range of treatment options at your fingertips, naturopathic practitioners appreciate how QEST4 reveals patterns and links across so many apsects or ‘layers’ of the human organism, helping you to know where to focus. The system gives insight into structural, biochemical, mental and emotional factors, as well as incorporating many eastern and western models of health and wellness care.
As a doctor of Osteopathy or Chiropractic, you have both a physician-level understanding of the human body and a holistic outlook. In the USA, where that discipline is often the first port of call for a variety of health issues, chiropractors are among the most frequent users of the QEST4 system. If you are grounded in structural medicine but wish to incorporate new dimensions in how you look at your patient’s, QEST4 may be the ideal evolution for your practice.
